It was a clear blue sky, I was patrolling up a mountain on a military exercise. The guy in
front of me saw the UFO first, he pointed it out to me. Neither of us could identify it as it was
too fast for a plane/jet. Its shape was similar to an egg but finer in appearance. But the
most memorable thing would be its color: a very bright, clear silver that was almost mirror
like, very smooth. Very much like a soldering iron when it is hot. It was very far away -
maybe eight kilometres, yet it could be seen as clear as day. It must have been very large. I
pointed it out to the office that was patrolling behind me. He also was dumbfounded by the
flying object. We then continued to patrol.
