It was late spring to summer and I was spending the night at my grandparents retirement
apartment...I had just finished watching TV and my grandmother sent me out of the room so she
could give my grandfather a quick sponge bath. (He had bad health and couldn't stand.) I went
out onto the balcony to look at the stars..I don't know how long I had been out there exactly
but couldn't have been no more that about 10 to 20 minutes. Anyway, I was casually looking up
at the stars and the occasional passing car..The silence was broken when some dogs started
barking and I leaned over the balcony to see if I could see whatever it was that the dogs were
making. Looking off to my right I noticed a blaze orange ball of light in the sky coming out of
the south and heading towards the north. I don't know how fast it was going but it seemed to go
about as fast as the crop dusting planes did just outside of town. I guess I watched it
for a couple of minutes till it disappeared off in the north. Don't remember if it was on the
new or if other's saw it.
